MEXICO, SEPTEMBER 11, 2014.

TO: THE GENERAL PUBLIC
TO: THE JUSTICES OF THE SUPREME COURT OF MEXICO

In recent days, Mrs. Isabel Miranda de Wallace, as well as Mrs. Brenda Zamudio Martin del Campo and Mrs. María Fernanda Zamudio Martín del Campo, have started a campaign on the social networks, the media, and even billboards, spreading falsehoods of a very diverse nature against me, to put pressure on the Justices of the Supreme Court of Justice of Mexico to have them resolve my case according to their own interests.

In a very marked way, they have insisted that I was not tortured, which is why it is necessary to repeat once again that national and international bodies have proved, based on serious, exhaustive and impartial analysis and studies that I was tortured.

The Human Rights Commission of the Federal district (CDHDF, for its abbreviation in Spanish) proved the torture through the application of the Istanbul Protocol and the investigation of other indirect evidence, so did the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and even independent and impartial specialized experts, recognized by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Mexico (testimony attached). It is worth mentioning that the acts of torture that I suffered did not consist only in beatings, but also in acts of suffocation with a plastic bag, as well as in other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment.
