A Message from Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Mother

Ezat Taheri, mother of the conscientious prisoner Mohammad Ali Taheri who was sentenced to death on August 1, 2015, is shown in a short video, urging Iranian authorities to reverse Taheri’s death sentence and release his innocent son immediately. Mohammad Ali Taheri, Iranian inventor and scholar has been in solitary confinement for more than 4 years and was recently sentenced to death. He has been on a hunger strike since August 13, 2015 because of the lack of a fair trial. Political and security forces on his case have not delivered an accusation to him in writing, and have destroyed his 200 paged defense before a judge could even see it. Ezat Taheri in her video asks directly to Mr. Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, to release her son immediately and unconditionally. She states that in spite of several letters she has sent to Mr. Khamenei, she hasn’t received an answer yet. She also asks people all around the globe to support Mr. Taheri, asking for justice, and to project his voice in the world.
